Betoptic S is a medicine for treating open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension. It is a beta-blocker medicine that contains a powerful ingredient called Betaxolol Hydrochloride. Betaxolol Hydrochloride works by blocking beta-receptors that are situated on the ciliary body. This leads to the reduction of aqueous humor that is released into the eyeball by the ciliary body.
