What is Jublia used for?

It is used to treat onychomycosis due to Trichophyton mentagrophytes and Trichophyton rubrum.

How does it work?

It has fungicidal activity via inhibition of fungal lanosterol 14 alfa-demethylase; an important component for making fungal cell membranes.

How do I take Jublia?

Gently apply the solution topically, completely around the affected toenail (toenail bed, hyponychium, undersurface of the toenail plate, and folds) with the attached applicator. Let the solution dry thoroughly. Wash your hands with warm soap and water after application.

The affected nail(s) should be dry and clear prior to application. Wait at least 10 minutes after applying the topical solution to bathe, shower, or wash the area. 

What dosages are available?

It only comes as a brand in 4mL and 8mL 10% solution. 

What is the recommended dosage?

The medicine should be used once daily for 48 weeks or as directed by your doctor.

What is the maximum dosage?

The maximum recommended dosage is 1 application per day.

What if I miss a dose?

Take the medication as soon as possible if you have missed a dose. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and return back to your regular schedule.
