What should you know before you take Myrbetriq (Mirabegron)?

Dose-related blood pressure (BP) increases have been reported with use of Myrbetriq (Mirabegron). BP should be monitored periodically during treatment. Use is not recommended in those with severe uncontrolled hypertension (SBP ≥180 and/or DBP ≥110 mm Hg). 

Caution in patients with bladder outlet obstruction (BOO).

Caution in patients with hepatic dysfunction. Dose adjustments may be needed. Use is not recommended in severe hepatic dysfunction. 

Caution in patients with a history of QT interval prolongation or taking other medications known to prolong the QT interval. 

Caution in patients with renal dysfunction. Dose adjustment is needed in severe renal dysfunction. Use is not recommended in end-stage renal disease (ESRD).
